    Three Trees

Because the 70-200 f4 L IS is no use for infrarfed (horrible hotspot on every frame), the 100-400 f4-f5.6 L IS is getting used quite a lot more. This one was right out on the horizon so was shot almost at full length (i.e 349mm). For IR or non-IR I really do like the lens.

I know some of you don't like how I have so much sky in some of my images. But it felt right when I captured this picture.

Your comments and critique will always be welcome.

    Nicely composed and processed.

Looks like snow on the grass and trees. Interesting.

Looks like Michael Jackson is about to come out any moment and start singing Thriller. Nice shot!

I like the different textures of the ground and trees, contrasting well with the beautiful cloud formation. I still don't like IR

Lovely shot with great detail in the sky. However, while I was writing this reply I noticed that I had scrolled down and cropped the image to landscape format. Personally I think I prefer it like that. Lovely shot either way though.

I like the shot as is and also trimmed from the top a bit. A really compelling work.

Nice image, Donald but I think you have been a bit heavy-handed with the vignette. The density is your choice of course but I feel it needs a more subtle gradation, particularly on the lower right side where it feels like a curtain is being drawn.
