My Mum waiting on a train
I am in NZ spending a week with my Parents.
Mum is 80, Dad is 84, I am so very lucky that they are in good health.
I am fond of this image because Mum is in it!
I couldn’t decide on the signal lights being just above her head, maybe they need to go, or maybe they are ok in context.
With Dad driving us to the station, of course we were there so early, there was no chance of me being fined for getting on the tracks to compose this pic.

Naughty. Isn't she meant to stand behind the yellow line!
The signals are fine.
A lovely image. There is so much to look at. I could spend ages just letting my eye wander around the frame.

Re: My Mum waiting on a train
Thanks Judith & John for your comments & yes Donald, she should have been behind the yellow line, but Dad got us there so early, there was no chance of anyone else seeing our misdemeanours
Thank you for your kind comment.

I like it. Not my genre to critique but purely as a viewer... I like it. Perhaps if she'd been one step back it would have been even stronger. But lovely as is. And good on you visiting the folks.

That is a really well composed image, Kay. I would have shot that scene without anyone in it just for the geometry.

Thank you Dan,
I’m trying to spend as much time with them as I can & yes maybe Mum back a step & that would let a wee bit more of the cafe table/chairs in the frame.
Thank you Greg, for your kind words, it did have lots of cool lines & angles going on.
