    Archi-Rapture in Blue

    Or, Rubik's Blues.

Shot this last week, cursing the relentless blue sky as usual. And the next day it started raining and hasn't stopped since. This could be the beginning of the end of the drought. I'll probably start cursing the clouds now for cluttering up my skies

Great image! Composition: perfect. Blue colours/tones: perfect.

So perfect I am reluctant to comment further but I might consider just one slight edit, which would be to replace the white along the two edges between the three blocks of colour, even if they are they are there in real life and part of the facades.

Another good one. You could sell some of these as pure art. (yes. I know photography is "pure art" ).

Yes, I agree with you David, they are a bit problematic. They were pure white (255) in the image and I pulled them down to a grey.

This shows that vision and creativity is alive and well in the the land down below. I would never, in a million years, see that picture. A marvellous capture of shape, colour and tone. My compliments.

Thank you for your generous comments, Donald. I am sure if you trudged the streets every day, as I do, with the aim of finding subjects to photograph you would soon start seeing the compositions.
