    VT birdbath in autumn

This one violates every idea I thought I had learned about composition--in particular, the importance of having a central point of interest. However, I found it beautiful, so I took a shot, covering my head with a jacket to get rid of reflections. I may post a few more from this series. C&C welcome, of course.

Sometimes a "unifying theme" works as well or better than a central point of interest. It is harder to pull off but you have succeeded with this shot.

You should violate your rules more often - or write some new ones. Nice shot, Dan.
