    Drier Cabinet

Having purchased my first item from B&H a couple of months ago I was then bombarded with their daily 'Today's Deals' each day by email.

Lot's of things I did not want but then a special on some 'Ruggard' Drier Cabinets with an 80 ltr one reduced from USD$249 to USD$149.

Some quick calcs and drawings to see if all my cameras and lenses would fit and the order was placed.

It finally arrived today after managing to get from US to Fiji in 3 days, and then sitting with DHL and customs for 6 more days

Unpacked it, (it was marked that customs had opened it for inspection) all appeared ok, plugged it in and nothing. A quick voltage check, ok, scratch head and wonder what to do when postage is far in excess of the item.

Felt around the area inside where its control panel is and a look revealed a small cable and plug not inserted in the PCB. Fixed

It's pretty impressive so far, initial ambient condition 27 deg C, RH 93%. After 1 hour 70%

That's the problem with ordering online - they've then got your e-mail and bombard you with messages. Of course you can unsubscribe, but you don't want to in case you miss that one that has EXACTLY what you want. Oh, the dilemma!

I think B&H has a check box for this somewhere in the ordering sequence. I’ve ordered from them for years but don’t get emails and don’t recall needing to unsubscribe.

Fortunately, I get very little unwanted email so I'll let B&H continue, just in case I spot something else I really need
