Project 52: Week 43, Autumn colours, a grey Heron and a brown Heilan' coo.

Went for a walk in the woods on Sunday. It was dull and windy for most of the day, but managed to fire off a couple.

1: Cloud and wind didn't matter here:





2: A welcome break in the clouds:




A few days earlier I paid another visit to Loch Leven, hoping to get some shots of the early arrivals of the expected flocks of migrating geese. Nope, didn't happen, but there were some obliging creatures around.

3: Heron hunting:
Stills don't capture the way it was slowly stalking prey along a shallow water way, but here's the bird:




4: And a wee bit further along the loch side something distinctly non-avian was having a foot bath:

Beautiful shots Bill. The landscapes are really nice ; I know what you mean about the heron's stalking! Ive just experienced and captured that in a series yet to be posted.
