    The Land Of The Yeti

Microscopy / Extreme Macro is a blast. The imagination soars as the inner world opens up. Yeti footprints and stashes of gold are in this shot. As always shot in our garden/temple somewhere in the Philippines.

Interesting shot, looks like food which is scary in itself.

That it is. It is actually a dull red stone with traces of quartz and possibly a few minute flakes of gold. Common becomes just so uncommon at this magnification. Which by the way I believe is around three times.

Would you consider getting rid of the dark triangle in the lower left corner?

Yes I would but it would have to be done by cloning... unless you have a better idea?

Do you use a software that allows for layers, Brian? If so, the better way would be to put a selection around the dark area and with the curves tool lower the tone, e.g. brighten it up.

My original thought was to crop from the left side. Cloning would difficult but could work and so would Donald's suggestion. Maybe a combination of all three.

Intriguing to say the least, Brian! I like it. If you can fix the lower left you will have a work of art.
