This flower has remarkable colour tones and the image a pleasing contrasting background.

The veins on the petals remind me of autumnal leaves.

This hibiscus sits right in the middle of the pale and the red hibiscus. It does have a pale autumn feel to it.

A lot of potential for over exposure there, but you have nicely avoided that trap.

I played with it a bit. The bg was easy but there were some border line areas in the flower.

About a month ago I had our gardener/ house cleaners make half a moon gate out of some tall but young hibiscus. I was then able to experiment with back grounds. This flower seems to benefit from a strong dark green bg.

I like it, Brian. Would it be better to increase the saturation a tad, and I mean a tad?
    Cheers Ole

perhaps a gnats tad. It is a magnificently soft and subtle flower.
