There was quite a stir this week in LaSalle Park in Hamilton. A Warbler was spotted and the birders in the area responded en masse. I joined the group but could not see it, despite them pointing up to the tree branches overhead. Un-trained eyes I guess.






So I had to be satisfied shooting squirrels. This guy broke into a bird feeder to seal their birdseed! You can see his head 'buried' in the feeder:

Hi Joe - I appreciate the humor in the first shot since you explained what was happening. Everyone standing around looking at birds you can't see so you flipped the tables and captured them! It is a pleasant autumn scene with muted colors. Nicely done!

I'm sure the bird was spotted easily but it's hard enough not to spook a bird when traveling alone, can't imagine any of the photographers did well in that sized group. Nice efforts.

Sherman Waterfall in Ancaster, Hamilton. Long exposure to create silky water flow. The water flow was a lot lower than I expected considering all the rain we had been experiencing lately. So I needed to enhance the flow by using a long exposure. f 29; ISO 100; 3.2 " using ND 4 filter.
I visited this location on 3 separate days to get what I thought would be ideal conditions for this shot, ie, overcast sky low lighting no bright spots in the sky and no one disturbing the the bridge on which I had set up my tripod.
