    Deliberate blurring

Following Dan's thread where he has used deliberate blurring, I thought I might share a couple of my attempts. In this first one, I have deliberately over-processed for some special effects.

This second one is more restrained. Both use a variation of the Orton effect where a sharp version of the image is superimposed on a blurred version.

For me, the first one works well but the second has little impact.

+1 to Tony's comments. The first one is interesting and has potential, the second one does not work as well and looks like it might be comfortable in a horror movie.
