Nice series, I saw in a documentary that the red clay on the females serves as a deodorant.

Great shots all of them, as usual. The subjects bright colors in image #1 are really interesting against the fairly desaturated BG.

It's ochre that they use and they mix it with butter and apply it to their skin, so it acts as makeup, an anti-antiperspirant and a sun block.
