Re: Autumn in Luxulyan Valley, Cornwall.
A nice series with some beautifully rich colours. I must definitely add Luxulyan Valley to a destination list for when I visit SE Cornwall as I do from time to time.
# 1 works very well with the long exposure. It must have been a still day as there is not much movement in the foreground folliage or trees.
#6 suits what appears to be a slightly faster shutter speed.
But all the images are well executed IMO.

Number 6 for me - good composition, rich colours with the most attractive colour balance, good 3D depth along the stream, and water that can be seen and almost heard tumbling over the rocks - everything is working well together to give me the impression of actually being there.
Thank you, Andy.
Cheers.

Re: Autumn in Luxulyan Valley, Cornwall.
I have never been a fan of slow exposure blurred water so the last image with 'real life' moving water looks particularly good to me.
The machinery looks good as well. Was that an old water wheel ?

A really nice series. I'm sort of with Geoff wrt the water although I quite like the second shot. Probably because the water doesn't dominate.
