Re: Retrospective: one spot in the Adirondacks [image heavy]
Once you find a site like this it is almost incumbent upon you as a photographer to explore the myriad possibilities. I am sorry you may lose this, seems to me that a lifetime is too short to do justice to it. And i think it makes you grow as an artist to hone your eye and craft by teaching yourself to look with fresh eyes at "old" things. Maybe even as a person, by slowing down to actually see the world around you

It's a shame that circumstances, whatever they are, lead you to the loss of such a beautiful and picturesque place. I've had the same experience and can tell you that the only way to shorten the grieving- is to find another, even more beautiful and restful spot than the first.
Good luck as you move forward.

#1 I would like to see more sky
#2 I would like to see more water - really digging the *smokey* mountains
#3 back to wanting to see more sky - looks like a nice cove for large mouths
#4 maybe a bit more sky again, I like the mirror qualities
#5 #6 I like the lighting of #5 but the overall image in #6
#7 just the way it is
It's not fruits and veggies but I have a sense of the place and your attraction to it, it's a place I would be quite comfortable at
