    Bird dogs

Yes, technically imperfect (my that snout blur) and a cell phone grab.

But, birds flew overhead and both very muddy puppies (yes still puppies at almost 6 months old) looked upward.
    Cute expressions.
Definite field instincts with a love of the bird.

They won't be small labs lol. Probably looking in the 65-70 pound range for female, 70ish for the male.

If nothing else, the grab made me smile.

I love this image. Technical perfection is not a criteria when you can grab a moment in time...

Those are some big dogs. We have a big one (75-80#) and a little one (25#) and the little one is by far the dominant one.

Love it. Agree that technical perfection is of little importance here.

Thank you for the comments. I am happy I turned around and saw this opportunity as it really captures their spirit.
Yes, they will be good sized Field Labs.
They are lanky leggy adolescents right now, but they are such beautiful pups.
We have them on a careful whole food dehydrated diet lower in calcium and phosphorus, but only so much slow growth you can push for they will be what they are. The dad was tall for sure. Luckily all the certs and health checks done on parents and a responsible breeder, now it's up to us to make sure they are sound healthy dogs.

Lot's of times, folks let little dogs get away with things that they would or could never let a big dog get away with. It's cute when one of my little Maltese jumps up on me but, not so cute if it was my 55-pound Goldendoodle...

LOL Yes. Our female puppy thinks she needs to throw her front legs around our necks and give us hugs and kisses. Um, when she's full grown that may not be as welcome
