Cocoons, as well as Butterflies and Moths come in all shapes, sizes and colors. This one is three cm long and about 3/4cm wide. The colors you can see. If I am undeservedly lucky I’ll see what comes out.
As always, shot in our garden/temple somewhere in the Philippines.

I've tried this cocoon before but the natural black bg makes a big difference
