I can see why this scene appealed to you. Two things which you might consider next time would be avoiding the shaded side of the ducks, or dealing with that in post processing, and providing more space on the right--so they have room to swim along. Getting a little wider shot and then cropping in post is one way to make sure you can provide the space around them that might improve the shot.
