    Passion

One of the reasons I have a passion for photography is that as I age other passions become less attainable. Food loses it’s flavor. The scent of the rose becomes harder to find. The eyes dim and the ears thicken. Sensuality of all shapes and forms diminishes in both desire and capability.

But photographic pleasures increase with age and experience. There’s always something new to learn and to apply. The pleasures of the passion don’t need to be completed all at once. Indeed they often reach greater heights if spread over days or even weeks.

As always, shot in our garden/temple somewhere in the Philippines.

Nice one Brian. I'd bet that an overhead shot would be stunning.

Could it work without stacking? The flower is about 2 inches deep

    A very enjoyable image.

I was intrigud by the colour of the petals--quite different from the passion flower in our garden. Is your plant typical of the passion flower variety (varieties?) in the Philipines?

I really don't know. M'Lady bought this plant at the local market. How many other varieties are available in other markets...
