Hoarfrost
Spent an hour waiting for the light to develop enough to take these. Went out before sunrise and saw the opportunity, just had to be patient until the sun was well up to light the area.
By my standards not a bad morning to wait about. Minus 2C and calm. Also got to watch a herd of 200 elk cross the road 100 metres away from me (too dark and and the wrong lens), two moose (too far away) and a coyote (we were both startled to see each other at close range). Plus I got some other shots of use.

Re: Hoarfrost
All good but, that third one...I think a got a bit snow blind from looking at that one. The frost covered branches against that blue sky, achingly stark yet beautiful

Re: Hoarfrost
My daughter was named after just such a morning: Chrystal Dawn. Well captured.
