I finished this shoot late Friday evening and was teaching all day Saturday at a photo club. I finally finished cleaning up and processing a few more shots of Lorinda Sherman in her Fur & Feathers outfit. All of these were studio shots and the lighting lot of them were a bit experimental in nature for me.
1. Strong side lighting - jungle theme
2. Shooting through some plastic plants to make the shot look like it was taken in the jungle
3. Single gelled speedlight (hidden by the composited fire)
4. Rim lighting using two strip boxes with egg-crate grids

The second shot works best in terms of the narrative because the background is unobtrusive. On the other hand I find the first is the least convincing because the background is too obvious as a studio backdrop.
