I have a feeling that some will love the background and others will hate it. This gorgeous orb weaver built his or her nest in front of our bedroom curtains. Shooting at F/9 the curtains were blurred nicely and made for an unusual background.
As always, shot in our garden/temple somewhere in the Philippines.

I agree with Geoff. The background is lovely and the spider stands out nicely. I might try to make the web stand out a bit more... or not.

Thanks for taking the time to view a and comment. It was the web I was trying to emphasize. Any suggestions on how to bring it out even more?
My problem is that the curtain colors have become the web colors.
