It almost works. The top left reminds me of single stars and a star cluster. If there were more stars and clusters or perhaps a nebula? But as is it is an interesting effort.
B.
It works for me, nicely done.
I very much enjoy the lines! However, the change in light at the top is a bit distracting. Perhaps a crop to focus our eyes on the lines more would be better. When I scroll down and show the image from just below that portion, it's a lot more interesting and abstract to me. Perhaps something like that could work at the bottom too to keep a balance in the photograph.
My first thoughts were the same as Monique. The tighter crop is too tight for me. I would keep the top and bottom mostly similar to the original but lose the over exposed area on the left with a mix of crop and clone. Maybe end up with square or 4 x 5 ratio?
I would suggest working the scene a bit more. Abstract images are challenging to do because none of the visual cues people are used to seeing can be found in the shot. The simple colours and repeating patterns are a solid approach, but the lighting and the white flecks (I assume these are from the cutting process that made the shapes?) are significant distractions.
In my view, you are closer to an image that works well in the first posting, rather than in the second one.
definitely better.
