Some more from Torres Del Paine (Chilean Patagonia)

    Dear fellows,

Just thought these neglected ones would be worth sharing, as a "part II" of my recent trekking adventure. I Hope you like them. CC welcomed. Cheers,

Such gorgeous view! My only thought is that the clouds in the first one seem a bit overexposed, but I'm not sure yet if that's something that is charming or not in this capture.

Potentially some good scenes but with the first 5 you have quite a bit of rather dark foreground so I would consider losing a bit from the bottom and going to a more panoramic size ratio. Then, with the last image I wonder about cropping from the top and reducing the clouds slightly?

All shots look like they were taken in beautiful places, but the lighting conditions were not optimal. These are all shots that look like they would work very well at morning or evening "golden hour".

Thanks, everybody, for your kind comments. Manfred, you are right. This was really a pitty! It is impossible to shoot at golden hours in the trekking, as the park has strict rules about the time in which trekkers can walk the trails. They "close" at 17:00h and are controlled by the park rangers. Since golden hours are about 5:00am and 21:00 (due to the latitude), and considering the interesting points are in the middle of your daily walks, you are forced to shoot most of the places during the day, with not ideal light conditions (as you mentioned).

    Cheers,

    Cheers,
That is unfortunate, but the rules are there. I have run into similar rules on our travels and unfortunately one has to live with them and the picture quality suffers.
