Helpful Posts: One of the photography clubs that I belong to has a monthly challenge. The images that are to be submitted in January 2019 have to be of ordinary subject matter photographed in a way that it is not instantly recognizable.
This is nothing more than a light switch in the basement of my house as well as the wall it is mounted on. I used a snoot on my flash (seen on the right side of the frame) to create a raking light that highlights textures and details and casts strange and hard shadows.

Just to confuse them even more you could try rotating it by 90 Degrees if the rules allow it!
