Did I push the wrong button

When I transfer my shots to C1 they start off as I shot them but they quickly all auto adjust into something way to bright. They don't auto adjust in RawTherapee.

Did I push the wrong button inadvertently or has my C1 crashed and burned?

Have you checked your auto adjust settings? I believe these are applied as the images are imported.

The lag you see is the image being imported and then you see the adjustments being applied.

Have you tried to select all the images and then hit the reset in the adjustments?

Have you tried setting up a new catalog to see if this works.

When I use C1, I only use it for very specific reasons and will generally delete the catalog when I have finished using it. If you are a traditional user, then this will delete all of your edits. Renaming your catalog so C1 does not find it will work too. C1 can't be running when you do this.

Hopefully, when you set up and create a new catalog, the software will behave correctly. It sounds like there is a problem with your preferences.

So do I and I can look at it if you want. Any chance that you can create a session and import one raw file that demonstrates the issue, zip the session folder with subfolders and files and arrange for me to download that zip-file? An EIP-file may be all it takes: Right click on thumbnail, select Pack EIP, copy the EIP file out of the session, right click thumbnal to Unpack EIP to revert to normal. An EIP-file will carry all your edits, but I am not sure I would get all your session settings. Better pack a one image session if possible.

There is a 7 hour time difference between us and tomorrow (my place) is New Year's Day, it may take a while to get at it ;-)

Re: Did I push the wrong button

This morning I manually reset my exposure and a few other buttons in C1, formatted my card, reset a few camera settings and things are back to normal. Apparently whateve I had pushed to cause the problem i unpushed.

    Thanks for the help.
