    Lens Ball

    Hey Guys,

Hope you all had a good Christmas and Happy New Year. On Christmas I got a bunch of bits and bobs that I can use in my photography including this lens ball. I was really excited to use and loved the way some of my photos turned out at the beach with the sunset. Tell me what you think and what I can work on.

    Bye.

Nice concept, I think what would serve you best would be the place the globe on a stationary surface, perhaps a tripod plate and zero in on the camera settings that gives you best effect/focus/reflection. You'll probably need to shoot wide open and/or up the ISO setting to get shutter speed you'll be comfortable hand holding the globe.

I like the last photo a lot, but perhaps even more when it is turned upside down...

What also stands out is the drop of water of the second photo, but there your hand is covering too much of the globe.

I also think you need to find a way to support the ball without your hand intruding into the frame. But I do like the third shot for the way you have aligned it against the water line in the background. The reflected sunlight is probably a bit too bright though. I look forward to seeing your future efforts with this.

Where can one get a lens ball like this? It looks like it could be a super fun accessory.
