But I really wanna!
We went to a fete a few weeks prior to Christmas where I enountered this little feller trying to get his mother's attention. She was not going to have a bar of it. I thought the body language was so good and waited until this moment.
I did not want colour in this picture because mother was dressed all in white and the background was all trees and greens, taking away the two people. C&C most welcome.

Nicely seen and captured, I probably would've kept the other two people though, a bit too much of both are still visible distracting from the scene.

Sorry Ole, this image does not do it for me.
The material to the right of the boy does nothing for this shot, the cut off people dressed in light colours grab the viewer's attention rather than the boy and finally shooting a child from a normal adult standing position is not the best approach either.

Close but no cigar from me either Ole. The gent left rear and the lady in the hat distract too much and you don'r need all of the RHS. This looks to be a considerable crop. Is there room to re crop? It's a nice idea.

Re: But I really wanna!
I agree with the suggestion of too much 'nothingness' on the right side being distracting. I found myself searching for 'meaningness' in that area but only found a Toilets sign.
Maybe a crop to a 4 x 5 ratio losing part of the right side would produce a good result. I suspect there is a good image somewhere within this overall scene.

Re: But I really wanna!
My imagination is very much instinctive. In the first image I took the picture from a slight elevated position to emphasise the boy's isolation and added negative space to run into if he wanted to. He would rather stay close to mom.
