Post#40, thought I was looking at the guard rail again, I think if you focus in on the crack it makes for a more interesting composition.

Been experimenting with alternative PP. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Most colorful and almost begs the question: "What would be the correct WB for that shot"?

Part of my experimental work is when to thoughtfully abandon the idea of "correct"

Week 13. Nice capture. Beautiful picture e en without the concept of empathy. Without the distraction of the gentleman in the lower left corner, the girl blowing bubbles would take center stage...

Thanks--I have other pictures that just feature Lucy. I thought the background was distracting, but in the one I posted for my week 13 the background worked all right.

Your Week 13 (#46) post is stronger than the one in #49.

The head of the child, man in the background and the soap bubble form a triangle that guides the viewer between these three important compositional elements. I do not find the man to be a distraction, but rather acts as an important part of the composition.

Agree--that is exactly why I liked it better than Lucy alone. Thanks for commenting!
