I was looking through my archive for something completely unrelated and came across this image. I like it now a lot more than when I originally took it. What would you call it? Just architecture?

Would it be ok if I call it a memory Jim.
I remember visiting the cardboard cathedral in 2014. Though I have to say that a greater personal memory of that time was the nearby display of white painted chairs. One for each person who lost their life in the 2011 earthquake especially as the display included two children’s high chairs.
Back to your image, I do like the stained glass and the cardboard tubes but for me the black below the window spoils the composition

How about this as an abstract version, Peter?

Nice captures.
I like both of those Jim for different reasons. The juxtaposition of the geometric shapes in the first and for the colour in the second. BTW, Where is the Cardboard Cathedral?
It was built because the Christchurch Cathedral, probably the most iconic thing in Christchurch at the time, was badly damaged during the two earthquakes which happened within a year of each other. The cardboard cathedral has been erected as a stand-in until the old one has been repaired, which will take years. The cardboard cathedral is really good and will last for many years.
Both good shots of those stained glass displays.
