You must have been moving along quite well at the time.
Looks like it could be a painting.
    Nice shot!

Another capture at a more reasonable speed.

Hi John - I agree with Alan that the first one (#1) does remind me of a painting. #4 makes me wonder what is around the bend? Alligators?

    Interesting series!

    Hi Sandy,

Yes, alligators and cranes, I got a few good shots of both but liked the landscapes most. Thanks for commenting.

Good use of an S-curve in your composition. On a day like today, i reminisce about shooting in weather like in your image.

You might want to look at what putting a bit of gradient in the sky does for the shot.

    HI Manfred,

Thanks for commenting, I did consider using a gradient but liked the result of the first print. Always willing to take another look at my output.

The first thing that caught my eye was the bright sky rather than the water and the grasses. When I see that, I tend to add a gradient to balance out the sky a tiny bit.

Very subtle processing, yet very pronounced result. Thanks for the suggestion.

Love the painterly effect. Did you use 'detail extractor' in Nik's? I often use that if I want that painterly effect.

Two nice shots but I like the first one in particular. It's interesting that the angle of the brush stroke effect in the first one is different in the reeds compared to that in the tree. Is that PP or just the effect of distance from the lens perhaps.

    Hi Ole,

The capture is mostly the effect of the fast moving airboat. Thanks for commenting.
