Reflecting the old in the new

Shooting into a modern mirrored glass building on one side of the street to reflect some of the older structures on the other.

So used to looking first and getting an impression that I didn't immediately recognize the old, nice composition.

I like the image. I tried several times to do much the same thing with two buildings here, but nothing worked.

I wonder: could you change your distance from the new building to make the distance between the metal frames similar to the width of the arches on the old building?
