    Topaz JPEG to raw conversion

    This was raised in an earlier post. I just saw an evaluation of it. It's currently the top posting at http://asktimgrey.com/

    Thanks for posting Dan. The answer he gives is more or less what I would have expected.

    The baseline is the data found in the JPEG file. No amount of manipulation is going to get back the data that was lost when the data captured by the camera was lost in the compression process.

    Not only that but I'm finding it difficult to imagine anything that can apply de-mosiacing in reverse!
