    Going back in time

    My DSLR is in for repair so yesterday I got my first film SLR out of retirement and had a fun afternoon on the banks of the river Wey in Surrey.

    Using film again really makes you concentrate on framing and exposure. No previews to help you. I will post the pictures when i get them processed.

    Oh happy days. 36 frames to use in a miserly fashion. And then post them off for processing. I always used slides, first Agfa 64 then Fuji 400. Using a projector I could blow them up to eight feet by four feet on the whitewashed wall to bore the hell out of dinner guests.

    Yes, yellow filter. I used Ilford Delta 100 b+w film. The filter however is now securely attached to the lens hood I used on another lens yesterday. So my task for today is to separate them.
