    Yellow "Super Moon" Over Brisbane

I took this shot tonight, fairly clinical but i wanted a record! Someone referred to it as a "Super Snow Moon" but I'm not up with such terminology. The yellow color was quite nice.

Thanks Dave. Nice. Too much cloud in Sydney this evening so we missed out.

The media term Super Moon tends to derive from the Moons position in its orbit of the earth when at certain times it is actually slightly closer due to the elliptical nature of lunar orbits or so I am told. The Snow bit probably refers to February because the one in January was said to be a wolf moon or something similar.

At least where you are it may be a slightly warmer shoot than standing outside at night with a tripod and camera in a British Winter.
