My name is Colin & I live in Littleton, CO - USA. I've been actively working on photography for about 2 years now. I've mostly focused on Landscape photos, but I'd like to do more in Buildings/Architecture, Street Photography & Action. I'll take photos at my kids soccer games of them playing, too.

I shoot on a Nikkon D80 (an older one with the old UI) and have 2 lenses: AF Nikkor 18-135mm 3.5-5.6G ED & an AF-S Nikkor 70-300mm 4.5-5.6G

I've spent a lot of time watching instructional videos and taking courses tryingt o learn more about the craft, but I just found this community last week & I'm hoping to get honest feedback on photos (but not blunt. I'm happy with polite honest feedback ) and have a place to discuss photography.

Hello Jacinta, and welcome to CiC. There really isn't a lot of connection between focus mode and exposure, whatever camera you may be using.

If you haven't already, I suggest that you have a look at the tutorials here (the link is at the top of the home page) and that will set you on the right path. When you have a question, it's probably better to post it in the General Photography Discussion part of the site which is read by a lot more members than Member Introductions.
