You titled the thread "10 pups", did one not survive?
Update: 3 more, one stillborn. Final count 12 pups, 7 males, 5 females.
Great looking dog - congratulations on the litter. I cannot comprehend a litter of 12-large breed puppies. The most I have ever had at one time is nine puppies but, these were from three moms who give birth concurrently. What a mess to wake up to three litters of puppies who all have had diarrhea
Is it true that in World War I, a dog of this breed bit Herr Hitler in the private parts? Or is that just a propaganda story?
Richard, thanks. We co-own this dog with two breeders, one in Seattle and the other in western Wisconsin. She came unexpectedly. Our other one had died and our little Nikki was still a pup. We had decided to stay at one dog as we were going back and forth from Minnesota to Wyoming. That didn't last long. She went to Seattle in November to be bred.
According to the breeder, she is doing fine with the pups. When she left she was in very good physical condition. 80 pounds, not a speck of fat and well socialized. I will try to get pics of the pups. Thankfully they're all spoken for or my wife would want one.
I don't know if a Bouvier bit Der Fuhrer in the man parts but if it is true, good on the dog. The dog should have bitten him harder.
