Portrait Of Me
I almost never have any pictures of myself... Well, here's one that was shot today when I picked up Lucy, our newest rescue dog.
Lucy will look a lot better after she is spruced up a bit. I am afraid that the same can't be said for me

Re: Portrait Of Me
Always nice to put a face to a well known name, Richard. Someday we may even see you without your sunglasses!

Re: Portrait Of Me
Lucy was the dog I was holding... She was an owner surrender because the young couple who had purchased her felt over-whelmed after they had a child.
Anyway, we received Lucy on Sunday and had a pre-approved adopter who flew down to San Diego, California from Seattle. Washington to adopt Lucy the following Saturday.
Lucy's new mom, Joan, will be retiring from Alaska Airlines this month and can fly free of charge on any Alaska flights. It was love at first lick when they met at the airport...
Joan has also volunteered to fly any of our rescue dogs anywhere that Alaska Airlines travels. Sometimes, like Joan, we have very good adopters in different locations with the only problem being how to get a dog to them. This has really been a WIN-WIN situation!
