I am heading out to the desert (Joshua Tree National Park) this weekend for some camping and star gazing AND no rock climbing (GASP I know). Since we are going out for a relaxing weekend I am wondering if you guys and gals could offer up some advise on Timelapse creation.
How long do you think I need to have the timelapse run for?
My setuo:
Tripod --> SkyWatcher Star Adventurer --> Sony A7iii.
The Star Adventurer will be set up on Timelapse, with a photo interval of 2 sec. The mount will open the shutter for 1.5sec and close for 0.5sec. Im going to test at home tonight to see if the camera can override the mount shutter control. If not I guess I will have to use my wireless shutter control and add it into the photo chain.
