Helpful Posts: I was on the hunt for medieval stained glass last week at Dorchester Abbey, Oxfordshire. At the end of my shoot, leaving, I noticed this thatched cottage, just over the Abbey boundary.
The tranquility of the scene was quite entrancing, and, I suspect I could easily live with the view from the bedroom window.

Looks good, James, except for the bottom right corner where there are a few little out of focus bits which are intruding onto the grass area.

Great shot! Reminded me of the houses in Tuscany, I've been there for a catalogue shooting for a real estate company. You see these old italian style houses with modern modifications everywhere. It was so beautiful that in these times I even seriously wanted to buy property in Italy

Very nostalgic!
Takes me back to '52 when my parents went into service, moving from London to Woolstone, Berks.
Our first residence there was this well-known cottage:
