    Nature & Architecture: The View from the Bedroom

    I was on the hunt for medieval stained glass last week at Dorchester Abbey, Oxfordshire. At the end of my shoot, leaving, I noticed this thatched cottage, just over the Abbey boundary.

    The tranquility of the scene was quite entrancing, and, I suspect I could easily live with the view from the bedroom window.

    Looks good, James, except for the bottom right corner where there are a few little out of focus bits which are intruding onto the grass area.

    Great shot! Reminded me of the houses in Tuscany, I've been there for a catalogue shooting for a real estate company. You see these old italian style houses with modern modifications everywhere. It was so beautiful that in these times I even seriously wanted to buy property in Italy Nature & Architecture: The View from the Bedroom

    Very nostalgic!

    Takes me back to '52 when my parents went into service, moving from London to Woolstone, Berks.
