Excellent; did you ask her to walk for you?
A very interesting shot, but a difficult one to finish, IMHO. The material in the top corners, particularly the top left with the bright almost-red roof, is quite distracting. However, cropping enough to get rid of it ruins other aspects of the composition. Maybe it would help to burn and desaturate those areas.
I agree about the distracting top left. My eye went straight to that area. But it is still an excellent shot, both in concept and execution.
I like this image very much, Manfred !
Yes, much better!
Great image... I like both versions...
Funny thing about me... I have shot while balanced on the skids of a helicopter with no safety belt and didn't think a thing about it. However, while walking along that path between the roof tiles - my heart would be in my mouth...
Perhaps Richard, those were the times ...
Looks better to me

What an interesting roof arrangement Manfred, with the walkway that the lady is on plus the walkways running off each side of the central one. I question the reason why the walkway is being used (apart from maintenance access) my assumption is that the user walks to the far end but then has to retrace their steps. I suspect that there is an explanation but that is out of shot.
I do like the images the edited version does prevent the viewers eyes going to the top left, though I think the edit has made the more modern roof a little too dark. However I am viewing this on a tablet rather than a calibrated monitor.

I prefer the original image. The pink rooftop top left adds dimension to the picture, that is now lost.
