What do you think about the Sony RX10 IV camera?
In the thread A DSLR superzoom camera, I told about my attempt to get a better superzoom camera (a compact equipment to allow me to take pictures of birds in flight or in less than ideal lighting conditions), but there is an other option: a premium superzoom camera (the Sony RX10 IV).

This seems to be one of the best videos of the group specifically concerning the specifications of the RX10 Mk4

The absolutely cheapest exceptionally lightweight travel combination could be the Sony A6000 plus the 16-50mm and 55-210mm kit lenses.
Granted this may not have the reach of some of the other options but, the entire combination weighs in at 801 grams or 28 ounces and I have seen this combination sell for three hundred USD on eBay. The image quality is really pretty decent. Especially considering the price point and total weight...
There are,of course other options along he A6xxx line but, sadly as of yet, there is no really good telephoto at the weight point of the Sony 55-210mm lens...
Again without quite the range, a new Sony A6400. with 18-135mm lens and backed up with a low light glass like the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 would be a great travel combination at well under two thousand USD. This would give you excellent image quality along with top notch auto focus at a low weight point.
