This is definitely an unusual perspective. In most image making we tend to concentrate on the subject's face and some of the key facial features. Here with you PoV. focal length used and lighting it's all about the subject's legs and feet (shoes really).

The question is how well does it work? I think you are close, but your subject's face (and his expression) are probably the most important aspect of the image and that part is not nearly as effective as it should be. There is little light hitting his face and his baseball cap (a very important aspect of this shot, as it says a lot about the man) is throwing an additional shadow onto the subject's face.

If this were my shot, I would have probably tried to correct these issues in capture, but now that the capture has been made, burning down the legs, chest and arms and dodging his face might be worth trying.
