Hi to you all !

Welcome to the Cambridgeincolour forums!
Adorama.com. They're great. They have alot of stuff that's refurbished which, in my mind, is as good as new but costs so much less. They also have a huge selection of DSLRs AND lenses by all different manufacturers. And their prices are usually comparable to, if not better than, those found on Amazon.com. I bought a lens from them and both my brothers bought DSLRs from them.
Is there a specific camera you're leaning towards?
Hi neverhood311
sorry, I should have added "in the UK"
Thanks
Hi & Welcome from me as well.
Looked at your profile but couldn't see a location. Whereabouts are you? Members in your part of the country (or world..) will be able to give some advice based on local experiance...

Hi jp01,
I'm in the Scottish Borders.
I see you have the EOS 550D
That's the camera i'm after
I have used Calumet and Warehouse Express amongst others and have been very satisfied with the service.
I have to say I deliberated for ages between a number of models and being new to DSLR photography joined this site and got good advice from several members on CiC. In the end in decided on the 550D as I wanted something that I could grow with and the familly could use as a general camera as well. I haven't used the video facility yet in any serious way - I have enough to learn as it is..! I do plan to explore this area but to be truthful expect to use that option more for general familly pics than anything else.
As far as the 550 is concerned as a DSLR I am very pleased with it. Has been easy to use and learn (although make sure you carry the manual with you...) with good (for a begginer) results so far and certainly has the ability to provide great shots, the limiting factor is me - not the camera!
For good or bad I purchased mine from Jessops and have to say I got good serrvice and advice from helpful staff.

I've bought exclusively from Warehouse Express. I've always been very satisfied with the service and believe that they're competitive. I'm sure there are others as good, so I wouldn't recommend one over another, just relate my own experience.
Of much more interest however is that name. Are you a Burgundian-phile, like myself and Mike (Clactonian)?

Right, we need to tell Sean (site owner) that he needs to set up a section for wine-loving CiC members!
By the way, have you got a real name as well? You should edit your profile so that it appears at the left-hand side in all your posts. we tend to go with real first names on here.
Count me in to the wine loving section !
I can feel a rant coming on from the Welsh beer lovers.
The CiC Wine Appreciation Society
It's got a certain ring to it!
Well, tonight I was in the Southern Rhone with a Lirac. Very, very good.
