Camouflaged Doves
A couple of camouflaged mourning doves soaking in some rays. When I took this shot, I thought that I was photographing one dove.
I sharpened the doves using a technique called progressive sharpening where you repeatedly sharpen the same image using photoshop unsharp mask starting with a small radius and a large amount, you then fade the effect to 15%-20%, and repeat five or six times with a larger radius and smaller amount each time. This seems to sharpen without creating halos. I left the rest of the image completely unprocessed, not even capture sharpening, for comparison.
All C & C will be welcomed but I would appreciate comments on this sharpening technique.

Nicely seen and captured.
