Are you soft proofing your images before you print Janis?

I have been printing the test image Dan referred me to on various papers using their ICC profiles for my printer. My monitor is regularly calibrated with Sypder5.

When I am printing my own images, I softproof using the relevant ICC profiles.

Good workflow Janis. When soft proofing, try using both rendering intents to see which one works better for you with using the paper profile you are planning to print with. I find soft proofing is generally good enough to let me decide which rendering intent give me the direction I want for a specific image.
