Very rough, but great potential! - lady at the Len Lye Centre

I saw this opportunity a while ago, and wanted something to enhance the marvellous walls. This lady came along with her beau and I asked her to pose (a first for me). Wanted to capture the strong walls with a bit more humanity. Have just come back to this, with hopefully!! -- a bit more expertise, to project what I had in mind at that time.

The lady in the shot (and in fact everything in the shot) looks soft.

The metadata suggests a 1/8 second exposure, so that is your culprit. Your ISO is only 400, so you could have pushed that a lot harder to get a better shutter speed. Dealing with noise in PP is a lot easier than dealing with motion blur.

In terms of potential for a shoot, I would agree. The gray concrete and repeating patterns show great potential, but the technical aspects need to be fixed first.

I really like the composition but, as Manfred said, it is a bit soft.
