Ceiling - HoC Committee Room

I spent a lot of time looking (and shooting) up this past weekend. This is the ceiling of one of the parliamentary committee meeting rooms in the West Block building of the Canadian Parliament Buildings. I originally went colour with this one, but decided to post the B&W version.

Love this image... What made you decide to go monochrome?

I generally go on a monochrome diet for about a month every year. I renew my monochrome roots for a few weeks and when the spring flowers arrive I head back into the colour world.

maybe it's just me but it evokes feelings of an old sci-fi movie. Metropolis.
