Let's move for a while, to North India to the tempestuous area of Jammu and Kasmir ...
Not the best image I have...

Re: Forest in Sry Lanca
Post 11, I like the exposure and the tones, the tree in foreground focus is a bit distracting for an image display, however if viewed live would probably look as shown but only briefly, I believe the mind would fool us into believing all was in focus.

Re: Forest in Sry Lanca
You know John, this was the first time we were on a jeep in the middle of a forest in Sry Lanka.
For moment I did not know where to turn to. Everything was so nice as the light was changing...

Re: Forest in Sry Lanca
Antonio,
Post 13, another nicely exposed and presentation of the colors, whenever I see a scene like this I often feel that what is viewed on the LCD doesn't match and I will sometimes grab a slightly underexposed shot just to have a quick, visual reminder even though the imagery is usually embedded in my mind.

Re: Forest in Sry Lanca
John, the image produced and exhibited is a manipulation of the one the camera captures.
Such work alters the reality according to the eye of the beholder.
Some people may like these images while others can't stand it ! You know all this...
My wife for example, doesn't like the one above while I do...
Thank you for commenting, John !

Re: Forest in Sry Lanca
I liked the series very much, with some hesitation for the one which shows a fallen tree...it looks a bit busy
