Inuit Throat Singers

A few more images I took on Thursday. These shots are of two Inuit Throat Singers in traditional costume. The singers face each other and have no instrumental accompaniment. The duet is a bit if a contest because eventually one of the two throat singers gets thrown off her pace and laughter follows.

These two young ladies are local high school students.

The lighting was terrible to work with; quite dim (i.e. super high ISO required) and in addition to the main spot light, an array of LED lights kept an ever changing colour pallet hitting the singers and their clothing. This explains the strange hair lights and colours on their clothing. I corrected to get the skin tones looking right.
