Introduction

Hi,

As a Cambridge based amateur photographer, I really should have known about this website a lot earlier.

I've been taking photos for a while now (self-taught), not really seriously, but seriously enough to end up owning a semi-decent bit of kit (Canon).

My interests in photography are mainly wildlife, aviation (WW2 warbirds - living next door to IWM Duxford helps), historic monuments...

I've not made efforts to share my photos online until now, but recently I joined Instagram - where you can find some of my work. (sumit.sahai.cb1) Please follow me there if you like what you see.

I'll be posting here too, hopefully learn a thing or two from the community here.

Welcome, Sumit. You are excused for not knowing about CiC. The name comes about because it was launched by Sean McHugh when he was studying at Cambridge University.

I hope you enjoy being part of the forum. The partnering website features what are commonly acknowledged to be among the very best tutorials that you can find online.

Members will be happy to comment on photos that you post on here. Offering whatever advice and guidance you might seek. In the same vein, any photographic questions/queries will usually have lots of people offering opinions and answers.
