A number of people I know are still using Aperture to edit their images. Apple has just announced that Mojave is the last OS that Aperture will run under.

Just want to put in a plug for Capture One as an alternative option for processing. The program is set up to do an easy transition from Aperture to Capture One. I have no experience with Lightroom so I cannot compare the pros and cons; Capture One is the only processing program I use.
